Crawler
Yet another London Bridge pub crawl tomorrow night - Wednesday March 21 - in the best bit of London for real ale and craft keg beers. This has become something of a tradition recently, with the pubs involved being The Rake at Borough Market, the one-time greasy spoon cafe that has now become a mecca for real ale fans and connoisseurs of win interesting brew from all over the world. It bizarrely misses out the Market Porter (which doesn't need the publicity) and usually heads to Platform on Tooley Street which is a bit of a stretch of the imagination as it mostly deals with lager fizz though of later they have started trying to get more interesting stuff in. From then it again bypasses the Shipwright's Arms (though I wouldn't) and makes for the great Draft House on the corner of Tower Bride Road and Queen Elizabeth Street, before invariably ending up in the Dean Swift, and if you don't know where the Dean is (corner of Lafone Street and Gainsford Street), then you probably don;t visit this blog too often.
