Not just another brick in the Wall
Spent last night tasting London Brick, a remarkable, fruity, extraordinarily hoppy collaboration between a suitably remarkable group of new wave microbrewers in the metropolis (and one just outside): Redemption, Kernel (Tower Bridge SE1), Brew Wharf (London Bridge SE1), Zero Degrees (Blackheath SE3), Brodies (Leyton, E10) and Dark Star from West Sussex (not far from Gatwick!). A delicious one-off. My London local. the Dean Swift, in Lafone Street SE1 (in Shad Thames near Tower Bridge), managed to acquire a cask. Not much left now, I'm afraid.

Good to see Dark Star getting involved. Must try that one. Hophead is the favourite pint in my local The Bull at Benenden in Kent, wonderful citrus taste.
